What is Kratom?

Mitragyna Speciosa (commonly known as kratom) is a tropical evergreen tree in the coffee family native to Southeast Asia. Mitragyna Speciosa naturally grows in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Papua New Guinea, where it has been used in traditional medicine since at least the 19th century.

Each strain of Mitragyna speciosa is unique and offers its own beneficial effects to the user. Most individual strains are identified by a tint of color on their leaves.
